Isn’t this cool? A functional Windows-based driver for Wiimote has emerged, thus opening a new way to play games on PC. Let’s give our thanks to C.K. of GlovePie who has created this “programmable input emulator that allows you to utilize speech as a joystick“.
With an expected 4 million consoles in homes by next year and Bluetooth adapters retailing under 10 bucks, we might see one clever PC attempt to embrace a full solution in the box — a usb Bluetooth adapter and game kit under $50 can happen easily. A Wiimote supported game specifically for the PC is not only plausible, it would be brilliant. The buzz alone would sell the game.
